Internship Video Blog and Pictures!


Sawasdee Y'all! I Thought it'd be easier to watch me talk about my internship projects vs. reading all of them! Sorry for the length, I hope you gain some better insight on my stay while in Tampa! 



I forgot to add a few things. During my first week I was in charge of walking around the call center and getting people to sign up for our blood drive. We also have a National Intern Conference Call once a month among all the interns throughout the US. This month I volunteered to take notes! I love hearing what other interns are doing in their center, because we can all use each other to bounce great ideas off one another! It's important to help each other and collaborate as corporate wellness coaches! And of course I am training members and leading Spin classes and other Group Exercise classes now too!

Bragging Rights Wall of Fame! Members can compete at the end of each month to earn a spot on the wall. Whoever beats records like longest wall sit, longest plank, most pull ups etc. gets a spot on the wall. Whether you're trying to beat yourself from last month or beat the record holder,
 it's a fun workout! 

The setup. Workouts that match the space you land on are on the left and bodies being built on the right! Pieces go around the board and a paper dice near the office gets rolled for your workout of the day!

pushups, burpees, mt climbers, mary katherines, suicide planks, shoulder thingys, sumo squat w/ glutes squeeze, (hammer curls/bicep curls/wide curls), & triceps dips. 

Tabata is as hard as you can go, 20 seconds on 10 seconds off 8x with 1 min break each round. You repeat that exercise until the rest. Trust me you want to pace...this is what Olympians use to train! 

Btw...my supervisor, in the middle, has insane traps. Doesnt even train them!
